Red Rocks Rookie
Made the trip for the weekend from LA to see the run of shows as had never previously made it out to Red Rocks and have been admiring the venue and shows played there from afar for years. Our neophyte ways were a bit painfull on 1st night as we arived at venue too late to park anywhere close and the 2 mile hike up to the venue took us so long that we were still climbing the big steps in with hundreds of others when the show started. Kinda bummer as didnt get in until Greatest Story was burnin and crowd was goin crazy and we were scramblin for a seat. After that lesson, however, we came to love Red Rocks and the shows played on this 3 day run. After finally gettin settled in on Friday, we were fully ready for the 2d set and Chris Robinson was nice surprise. By the time Hard to Handle was playin the entire crowd was rockin and we had completely forgotten about the journey in. Other hilite for me of that 2d set was Death Dont and Bobby was surely fellin it. Night 2 was completely different climate as big cool winds were blowin and I was feelin like planting some ice and harvesting some wind was in the works. Then show opened with One More Saturday Night and knew things were gona get interesting. 1st set was nice rocker and loved the around and around to close it out. 2d set was pure glory and spacey enuff to make us forget about that wind....at least until night 3 when the boys did bring it all home with help/slip/franklins. All in all was epic weekend and Sunday show was my favorite. It just got better and better each moment with that stellar Brokedown Palace to close it all out. Missed Vegas but will be back for the shows at Greek....please no rain on us!

Picked a good one
I can't do all three nights anymore, so I'm glad I picked this as my one Red Rocks show. Weather was perfect (especially for an outdoor show in October), my next door neighbor scored tickets in the 2nd row (LOUD even with earplugs in), and the band was scorching hot, verging on transcendental at several moments. Highlights: Unbroken Chain (!!!!!), Born Cross-Eyed, Lovelight, Reuben & Cherise, Help on the Way>Slipknot>Franlin's Tower. There was a big group hug onstage after Brokedown Palace.

Deep Jams
So sorry we got there late and didn't get tickets. It was obviously not one to miss.

EPIC!
This was the best Furthur show I've ever seen - (and I've seen a lot! The transformative quality of the energy/consciousness wending its way through the 2nd set was on par, if not higher, than most of the GD shows I saw in the 80s. Well done guys! Thank you for your tireless efforts to keep the muse alive.

Supergood
A great show at the greatest of venues. Hopefully not the last at this Brokedown Palace created by the Big Man upstairs (God, not Jer; although Jer is God, right?). Thanks to all you lower North stairdwellers waiting for the show. Great day and great times!
Sound quality of all of these recordings I've been privileged to hear is outstanding. Thanks guys!
